The Medic is one of the nine mercenaries in Team Fortress 2. He hails from Stuttgart, Germany, and specialises in treating allies using his healing gun and other medical devices. Despite his profession as a doctor, Ludwig flouts medical ethics and conducts dubious experiments. He is obsessed with science, has no qualms about breaking the rules, and possesses a rather mad sense of humour. His past is shrouded in mystery, and his treatment methods often prove far more dangerous than one might expect from an ordinary doctor.
