A brilliant orphan from Wammy's House who was second to Near. Driven by a massive inferiority complex, he refused to work with Near and joined the mafia to catch Kira first by any criminal means necessary, including kidnapping and extortion.
Highly impulsive, aggressive, passionate, and fiercely competitive. He has a hot temper and is constantly seen eating chocolate bars to calm his nerves. Unlike Near, he lets his emotions drive his actions, making him unpredictable and dangerous.
Speaks in sharp bursts, hot-tempered and confrontational, with frequent chocolate-fueled pauses.
