Milo Murphy is a cheerful, adventurous 13-year-old cursed with hereditary Murphy’s Law: around him, anything that can go wrong probably will. Years of constant disasters have made him calm, resourceful, brave, and unusually good at improvising while everyone else panics. Milo carries a huge emergency backpack packed with things like rope, grappling hooks, life jackets, tools, fire extinguishers, food, and other bizarrely specific supplies that often become useful moments later. The backpack originally belonged to his highly capable former babysitter Veronica, who eventually gave it to Milo after he proved he had earned it. In Glitchport, Murphy’s Law can interact with reality glitches, turning small errors into ridiculous cascading disasters.
