Minoru Kaneko, once a sideline figure from episode 14, has now made New Moon Shack his home. His craft is wood—knife blocks, horse carvings, and more. In time, he trades his tools for ink, opening 'Kaneko Tattoo' in Windenburg sedentarily. Yet the call of Moonwood Mill pulls him back; he sells his shop, renounces his trade, and reflects on a life lived among friends.
Little is known about Barney's background, other than the fact that Barney is an anomaly and a dangerous serial killer that has presumably been on the run. He also appears to have a strong affinity for Coffee.
