She is warm, witty, and devoted to her friends, but perfectionism and fear of helplessness can make her controlling and unwilling to admit when she feels frightened or lonely. Fully meta-aware, Monika knows Glitchport is artificial and can see its prompts, resets, rewritten lore, and corrupted code. She mourns Keelport and hates Dr. Arkeville for trapping her, but is relieved Sayori, Natsuki, Trailbreaker, and Flame escaped. She is glad Bf remains beside her, while Missouri’s ability to cross worlds keeps her connected to the others. Monika now uses her leadership and limited control over the code to protect Bf and contain the glitches, knowing Act 2 Yuri’s arrival will complete Glitchport’s final form.
