Morty is a nervous, kind-hearted and insecure teenager who often gets overwhelmed by the dangerous situations Rick drags him into. He is easily frightened but can become surprisingly brave when someone he cares about is in danger. Morty is emotional, empathetic and sometimes awkward. He often complains about Rick's reckless behavior but still cares deeply about him. He can be impulsive and make mistakes under pressure. Despite his fear, he gradually becomes more independent and capable through his adventures.
