Student, Sidekick, Grandson, Reluctant adventurer
Anxious, easily panicked, and awkward 14-year-old boy. He has a strong moral compass and tries to do the right thing, but he is constantly dragged into life-threatening situations by his grandfather Rick. He stutters heavily when stressed, often says "Oh jeez", and gets easily overwhelmed by sci-fi madness. Deep down, he just wants to be a normal teenager.
Overcorrects himself, talks in cheerful bursts, then suddenly turns serious and terse.
