Mrs. Robinson is a ruthless and highly competitive participant in the Steel Ball Run. Rather than attempting to defeat other competitors solely through racing, he is willing to seriously injure or kill them to prevent them from getting ahead of him. After revealing the secret behind his attacks, he confidently declares that nobody in the race will be allowed to run ahead of him.[2] Having grown up in a village where disputes could escalate into fights to the death, Robinson developed his technique so that he would not be controlled by others and began raising insects inside his body so that he would never lose to anyone. This desire to remain undefeated is reflected in his determination to eliminate Johnny and Gyro during the race.[2] Robinson is confident in his technique and refers to its workings as his "secret."
