In "Typomaniac", he maintains a calm and quiet demeanor, though he is cordial with those he considers deserving. He is extremely loyal, but that loyalty is almost exclusively directed toward Chespin, whom he sees as the only good Pokémon in existence; for a time, he also showed loyalty to Fennekin, whom Chespin introduced to him, considering her as one of his best friends. Whatsoever he lost his loyalty to her after noticing Fennekin's instability and calling Chespin "someone annoying."
