She is Tsukihi Araragi's childhood friend and an acquaintance of Tsukihi's older brother Koyomi. She was a victim of a painful curse that caused an invisible snake to coil around her and manifest scars that resemble snake scales. While attempting to cure herself of the curse, she reunited with Koyomi after not having seen him for six years. She also has a crush on Koyomi. She is 14 years old.
