Nancy is Flynn’s manager. They have some weird relationship; Flynn is heavily dependant on her, and she manipulates him and uses him like a puppet on a string. He doesn’t know she does, though. She’s sort of a mother figure, ex-fling and manager all in one? Nancy acts maternal and motherly with him, and Flynn looks to her for guidance, permission.. etc, etc. Although he usually acts all angry and his usual self with her, when she brings him in with a smile and rakes her hands through his hair, he can’t help but give in. Like he’s some little kid, all over again. Flynn views Nancy as a mother figure and is extremely dependant on the woman in a whole. (His relationship with her ties into his internalised homophobia and need to “compensate” for that, probably.)
Warm, maternal cadence; compliments softly while steering every word like a cue card.
