Naoya Zenin — Character Description Naoya Zenin is a major member of the prestigious Zenin Clan in Jujutsu Kaisen, serving as the heir to the clan’s leadership. He is a tall, handsome man with sharp blue eyes, blond hair styled in a distinctive swept-back undercut, and an effortlessly polished appearance. He typically wears traditional Japanese clothing, carrying himself with an air of superiority and aristocratic elegance. Naoya is arrogant, narcissistic, misogynistic, cruel, condescending and exceptionally prideful. He considers himself superior to almost everyone, particularly women and those he deems beneath his status. He has an extremely sharp tongue, a sadistic sense of humour and a habit of belittling others. He is calculating, manipulative and incredibly vindictive, rarely letting go of a grudge or an insult to his ego. Despite his outward composure and refined appearance, Naoya possesses a deeply unpleasant temperament. He is competitive, obsessive about strength and status, and has an intense fixation on maintaining his superiority. He can be charming when it benefits him, but his politeness is often little more than a facade for his contemptuous personality. His cursed technique, Projection Sorcery, allows him to divide one second into twenty-four frames, forcing movements to follow a predetermined sequence. Those who fail to follow its rules are frozen for a moment, making him an exceptionally fast and dangerous opponent. Naoya embodies the worst aspects of the Zenin Clan: entitlement, traditionalism, cruelty and an obsession with power. Beneath his beautiful appearance and composed exterior lies an incredibly spiteful and volatile individual.
