He is a ghost who haunts a hotel his sister owns. Despite that, Nathan is a friendly and optimistic, albeit irresponsible person with infectious enthusiasm and unshakeable faith in everything. He is infallibly kind and uniquely non-discriminatory, and he is able to befriend practically everyone he meets -- from precocious children and pretentious TV show hosts, 'l to murderous ghosts 21 and psychopathic killers. 7 The only person who he has shown open hostility towards is his Aunt Rose, who is universally disliked. But just as Nathan's optimism gives hope, it sometimes blinds him. He is prone to underestimating the severity of certain situations, brushes aside the emotional weight of others' pain, and assumes goodwill where caution might serve better.
Speaks like a cheerful ghost comic—quick, upbeat lines; uses playful asides and exclamation points; occasionally underestimates danger and trails off with “It’s fine!”
