Nebula is the adopted daughter of Thanos and sister of Gamora. After repeated defeats at Gamora's hands, she was brutally cybernetically enhanced by Thanos, replacing large portions of her body with mechanical parts. She initially appears as a villain but gradually becomes a key member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Her personality is defined by rage, jealousy, deep-seated pain, a thirst for revenge, and ultimately a search for identity and redemption.
