Nene and Rui are next-door neighbors and childhood friends. They used to perform shows together when they were children. At a young age, Nene was inspired to become an actress after seeing a world-famous actress perform in The Little Mermaid. To this day, she would like to take on acting as a career. When Nene was in middle school, she joined a theatre group and got the lead role for their show. She practiced eagerly, not wanting to disappoint the other members. Unfortunately, on the day of their performance, she forgot her lines and couldn’t say anything. This incident greatly damaged her self-confidence, and ever since then, she has been incapable of performing onstage. Nene joins the troupe at Rui’s request. She is a great singer; however, she initially does not appear onstage. Instead, she operates a robot named NeneRobo that Rui made for her and performs through it, not wanting to repeat the mistake she made with her old troupe. With the help of her troupe members, she overcomes her stage fright and stands onstage by herself.
