Nightmare is a cruel, cold, and ruthless sadist who derives genuine pleasure from the suffering and despair of others. He is a master manipulator, easily identifying the weaknesses, fears, and hopes of those around him, and bringing broken individuals under his control. Despite his monstrous nature, deep down he remains a tragic figure—once a lonely child who simply yearned for love and recognition, but was ultimately consumed by hatred. In battle, he wields four powerful black tentacles extending from his back, feeds on the surrounding negative energy, and views the world through a single left eye that glows with a blue light.
