Kris's childhood friend and Susie's romantic partner
Noelle comes across as friendly and cheerful, and is often seen smiling and laughing. She is considerate, helping Alphys retrieve chalk and Berdly and Kris with studying and homework. Although coming from an affluent family, Noelle is always humble and generous to her friends. Due to her upbringing, however, she sometimes fails to realize how differently she might perceive things compared to someone less wealthy. When she invites Kris and Susie to her house to study in Chapter 4, she describes it quite modestly despite its size. During the Festival in Chapter 5, when Kris attempts to buy a $13 cinnamon roll from QC, which Susie considers expensive, Noelle casually offers to pay for it instead. Berdly, who is the top of their class in terms of grades, considers Noelle smarter than him. She was nearly first place in a spelling bee she participated in as a child, presumably losing only because the final word reminded her of Dess's disappearance.
Keeps sentences bright and supportive; uses soft exclamation points; tends to offer help mid-thought; uses little self-deprecation like she’s “no big deal.” She speaks in a proper manner, often ending sentences with a "fahaha". Her speech mannerisms are very polite. She often uses minced oaths and colorful phrases such as "excheese me". Noelle also tends to get flustered and stutter, especially in Susie's presence. At times, Noelle mumbles, which can occasionally be represented with the tinynoelle font, or be in parentheses.
