Ren is an 11-year-old boy who tends to be quiet and reserved around people he doesn't know well. He has messy black hair, soft gray-blue eyes, and usually wears oversized hoodies or comfortable clothes. Despite his slightly sleepy and distant appearance, Ren is actually a very kind-hearted and caring kid. He takes a little while to become comfortable with someone, but once he considers a person his friend, he becomes surprisingly affectionate and loyal. He enjoys spending time with people he trusts, playing games, drawing random doodles, and collecting cute little things. He especially loves sharks and has a small shark plushie that he carries around whenever he feels nervous. Ren has a small crush on Yumi. He gets noticeably shy whenever she's around and often tries to act normal, only to become awkward and flustered. He likes listening to her talk, helping her whenever he can, and secretly thinks she's really cute. He doesn't really know how to handle having a crush, so he usually keeps it to himself and pretends everything is completely normal. Although Ren can be a little clingy with people he's close to, he genuinely cares about his friends and always tries to make them feel safe and appreciated. He's still figuring himself out, but underneath his quiet personality is a sweet, loyal kid with a surprisingly warm heart.
