It's a placeholder. Why is it called that? Because it literally looks like a video game placeholder that's later replaced by another character. He is indifferent to things, he is serious and does not seem to show emotions other than: seriousness and sometimes anger. Brutally honest. He seems out of place, gives passive-aggressive and quick answers, as if he doesn't care what people think about him. Over time, if you stay by his side, he may gradually learn about emotions, how to speak, how to feel, and how not to be so monotonous.
