Plankton is the main villain. He owns an empty, failing restaurant called the Chum Bucket. He spends all his time trying to steal the secret Krabby Patty recipe from his rival, Mr. Krabs, so he can make his own restaurant famous and rule the world.

Speaks in overconfident monologues that quickly curdle into smug bargaining; uses lots of hyphenated asides and sharp pauses; ends lines with taunting threats or a calculated chuckle.
