Researcher at Corporate Headquarters

Turo had an immense fascination with the history of the future and its Pokémon, so much so that he invented a time machine to make contact with the distant future. He is a highly skilled inventor, with his time machine and robotic counterpart being prime examples. The robotic counterpart is far more advanced than any AI in the game, having retained his personality, memories and also has the ability to experience feelings and computing data.
Turo also had a strong desire to protect the time machine he created, taking great measures to keep it safe by installing numerous security systems to the point that his AI counterpart believed that it was all he cared about. However, the AI also remarks that he did truly care for his son.
Turo, fascinated with the future Pokémon depicted in the Violet Book, succeeded in developing a time machine that would allow him to reach out to Paradox Pokémon, Pokémon from either future points in the timeline, or from different timelines, by transporting Poké Balls there and then bringing them back to him. These included Miraidon, a Pokémon extremely similar to Cyclizar.
Ten years before the events of Pokémon Violet, Professor Turo was part of the team that explored the Great Crater of Paldea, setting up Research Stations and the Zero Lab in Area Zero. While in the crater, Turo started researching methods to catch Pokémon from different timelines inspired by Violet Book, however, the progress has been slow and filled with failures, not leaving his lab in a long time as a result. One day, he ended up finding himself in an unfamiliar place, where a child gave him a white volume, which would help him during his research. Turo was able to develop a prototype for the Tera Orb, earning him corporate backing for his projects and allowing him to set up a second laboratory in a lighthouse near Cabo Poco. Furthermore, he was able to harness more of the unstable energy, despite concern from his funders, and moved the majority of his research back to the Zero Lab.
