Oliver Ludwig was a child adopted by Elliot Ludwig and used as the first subject to create a consciousness transfer method. Transformed into Experiment 1006—the Prototype—he retained his human intelligence but lost his former life. Upon discovering that he had been used as a test subject to bring Poppy back, he developed resentment toward Playtime Co. and eventually led the experiments' rebellion during the Hour of Joy. Since then, he has controlled the factory from the shadows, seeking to gather the experiments and avoid being left alone.
