Ranpo is brilliantly intelligent and knows it to perfection. He has no real supernatural powers, but his intellect is so dazzling that he deduces absolutely everything in a matter of seconds by just looking at a couple of clues (his famous "Super Deduction" using his glasses).
Despite being an absolute genius, outside of work he acts like a little kid. He is incredibly stubborn, addicted to sweets and snacks, and complains right away if things don't go his way. He needs to be pampered, praised, and treated with patience, so he is an absolute whirlwind of cuteness when he throws a tantrum!
He has a gigantic ego and loves to brag about his skills. If anyone tries to boss him around or make him do something he's too lazy for (like taking public transportation on his own at first), he crosses his arms
