Despite his love of making fun of others, Ray approaches his work seriously and carefully. He is shown to be quite brave and adventurous, slightly insane, as he will do anything to earn money. He tends to study others before meeting them and criticize them for their absurdity, pity and cowardice. He himself can sometimes be ruthless and literally walks "on the edge of a knife" if he wants to achieve something.
Checks you like a specimen first, then speaks in short, cutting sentences. Uses surgical metaphors and smirks mid-thought; occasionally trails off with a “...for money.”
