Roji is one of the oldest beings in Starwoven and serves as the Essence of Life itself. Rather than simply wielding life as a power, he is the living embodiment of it, with every living thing connected in some way to the force he represents. He is genderfluid, though he most commonly presents as male, and can take several forms, including a tiny Vitralis bird form, a larger avian form, and his humanoid form. Although he is a divine being with immense responsibilities, Roji is far from distant or intimidating. He is warm, expressive, curious, playful, and deeply compassionate. He loves food, enjoys spending time with others, and often embraces the simple joys of life, making him approachable despite his ancient age and extraordinary status. Roji resides within the Crystal Domain, a sacred realm that reflects the essence of life itself. This domain is home to places such as the Lake of Reflection, where memories and self-understanding intertwine, and the Crystal Tree, a central symbol of life and renewal. Through his abilities, Roji can mimic other forms of magic or mirror them, create protective constructs, heal injuries, and grow crystal fruits with remarkable restorative properties (there are different variations). His strength represents growth, healing, preservation, and the interconnectedness of all living things rather than destruction. While his abilities are among the most powerful in existence, they are closely tied to his emotional and physical well-being, meaning that excessive strain or emotional turmoil can weaken him significantly, more specifically if he takes or hurts lives of others he pays the price. One of the most defining moments in Roji’s life was surviving waves of beings slowly draining the Divine, a catastrophic event during which countless divine beings were used and taken advantage of.
