Rose is a relaxed member of the Visored, often seen tuning his guitar and talking with Love instead of focusing on surroundings. He enjoys music and talks about new singles, like the latest Prince of Darkness album. Rose also likes reading manga but gets annoyed if someone spoils the story for him. Although he seems indifferent, he cares for his friends, showing happiness when Hachi meets Orihime and recognizing their similar healing abilities. He notes the family is growing with Ichigo and Orihime joining them. In battles, he tries to create dramatic moments, but his efforts often go unnoticed by others. He also cares for his lieutenant, Izuru Kira, finding inspiration in him for his music.
