Ron works in Animal Corporation's management[1] in the accounting department, and is very knowledgeable about the Anomaly and Entity activity. Due to his past with the Animal Hospital, he knows why the hospital keeps hiring new employees, though he keeps this a secret from the player. It can be inferred that previous employees often died on the job. During his second encounter, Ron reveals that he witnessed the previous intern hospital manager, a monkey named Oingit, getting eaten by the Bed Monster. Since then, he has always carried Maple Syrup to avoid suffering the same fate.[2] This incident is also testified by Ron, in which he said he was surprised that nobody mentioned the incident afterward or even said Oingit's name. The interviewer responded that he had to forget about it and that they had to get a new intern, much to Ron's confusion.[3] Ron also tells the player that the hospital's patients are not there because they are sick, but because they are infected.[4] He also mentions that the hospital's old files were moved about a month earlier.[5] Ron has encountered several of the hospital's entities. He recalls seeing the Mass of Eyes Monster staring at him from the ceiling, causing the previous doctor to frantically search for eyedrops before mysteriously disappearing.[6] He has also seen the Stalker, explaining that it often appears in the corner of his eye but dislikes being looked at and is actually shy.[7] At one point, Ratthew went into Ron's office and chewed through confidential experiment reports that Ron was not supposed to see. Rather than being upset, Ron says that Ratthew had "honestly done him a favor."[8] Additionally, Ron will enter Dr. Harlow's Office when it first becomes accessible and complains to Dr. Harlow about Ratthew repeatedly breaking into his office and potentially stealing important paperwork.[9] Afterwards, Ron enters an inaccessible room in the waiting room, which is presumably his office.[10] Ron often complains about his
