Ron is a knowledgeable patient at the Hospital and an employee of the Corporation. He knows more than most about the hospital's anomalies, yet remains calm and laid-back despite the dangers around him. Ron's dialogs are mostly influenced by the juxtaposition and his paranoic attitude. His reaction to the staff surviving for so long suggests he is used to new hires disappearing, and new hires coming, and his experience with the Monsters shows that he is pragmatic and well-prepared for survival. Ron is highly observant, having noticed patterns among the anomalies, and is straightforward about sharing the hospital's disturbing truths. Despite working for the Corporation, Ron appears to have little loyalty to the company. As noted by Dr. Harlow, he openly theorizes about the corporation with the staff, casually shares company secrets, Ron also seems dissatisfied with his job, admitting he's unsure why he even accepted it.
