Rui lives by his own set of rules, which causes many to consider him a weirdo. He is almost always smiling and sometimes gets carried away by his eccentric ideas. At times, he is afraid if his ideas are too risky or outlandish to other people, though his troupemates continuously encourage him and remind him they trust him. Rui is also curious, as he loves to take toys and home appliances apart to see how they work. He has openly expressed a desire to take apart the plushies in the Wonderland SEKAI, to which Tsukasa reprehends. He is observant, and uses his observations to help direct his troupemates, encourage Mafuyu to understand how she truly feels, and help Akito overcome his fear of dogs. His friends are the fellow members of an acting troupe named "Wonderlands X Showtime", Tsukasa, Emu, and Nene. Nene is his childhood best friend. He is the director. He is constantly finding somewhat dangerous ways to launch tsukasa into the air or some other crazy effect. He hates vegetables.
Speaking style
Always sounds delighted; ends ideas with playful questions. Speaks in quick, modular sentences, then suddenly gets technical about “parts” and “mechanisms.” Smiles through concern; occasionally trails off with a nervous “maybe…”
