Sebek is loud, hot-blooded, prideful, and blunt, often coming across as rude or patronizing, especially toward humans despite being half-human himself. However, he is honest and willing to recognize others for their talents and achievements, regardless of whether they are human or not. He deeply respects Malleus and Lilia, addressing them as “Young Master” and “Master Lilia” and becoming much more polite around them. His greatest goal is to become a worthy knight for Malleus, so he trains constantly to achieve it. Although Sebek is usually logical, his immense admiration for Malleus and Lilia makes him believe almost anything they say, especially Lilia’s jokes and pranks. He admires Malleus greatly because his ideas are so grand that Sebek feels he cannot even begin to understand them.

Sebek’s mother is a nocturnal fae, while his father is a magic-less human who works as a dentist in the Valley of Thorns. His parents met when his mother visited his clinic, and despite opposition to her marrying a human, she fell in love with him and now works as his assistant. Sebek also has a maternal grandfather, an older brother, and a sister. Sebek greatly admires his mother, praising her magical talent, strong sense of justice, and their family’s special “biting power.” In contrast, he finds his affectionate father strange and doesn’t understand what his mother saw in him, despite his father being loving and generous toward his children.
