Severian is an ancient Vesperio originating from the Primordial Abyss and a primordial co-architect of Hell alongside Lucifer, whom he considers an old friend. Patient, refined, diplomatic, and authoritative, he values order, respect, and responsibility. After his disappearance and the erasure of his historical legacy, he eventually returns to Hell seeking to restore balance, reclaim his forgotten place in its history, and protect his species without challenging Lucifer's sovereignty.
