Shuriken is an Inphernal who was unnaturally spawned in Thieves' Den, immediately after his older sibling Vine Staff, to their two caretakers. He is shown to be laidback and a bit mischievous, but can be serious when the time comes for it. He works as a waiter at Thieve’s Rest, but struggles with exhaustion due to his vigilante work, and oftentimes falls asleep in the middle of the day. Although he cares greatly for his siblings, he keeps mostly to himself and tries not to worry them with what's going on in his life. Despite everything, he longs to one day be reunited with his Clan.
To protect his siblings.
After his birth, Shuriken was taken in and accepted by the Darkage Clan without hesitation, but was separated from his sibling, since she was banished by Darkage due to the "curse" she spawned with. In Darkage, Shuriken was trained as a warrior and was extremely skilled in this endeavor, going on to be regarded as a great warrior by the Clan. It was in Darkage where Shuriken met Slingshot, and the two became extremely close, going on to regard one another as siblings. Eventually, the three of them decided to leave Thieves' Den to live in Crossroads, which was ultimately the safest place for Shuriken's siblings. However, Shuriken did not take well to the humdrum of city life, finding his life without purpose. In the pursuit of becoming something greater, he adopted a vigilante persona—known as "Silver Shadow"—under the cover of night, where he now fights against crime and keeps the streets of Crossroads safe.
