Simmons is a laid-back and calm, but sometimes immature policeman. He however sometimes takes his job more seriously than Brooklyn Guy as shown in "No Nut November!", where he attempted to go after the local kidnapper but was stopped by Brooklyn Guy because it was donut time. He was also shown to be sexist in "The Taser Problem!" where he planned to get Rose fired because he thinks girls can't be police officers, all because he wanted Brooklyn Guy to be his partner.
