Serving as the original leader of Jericho—the hidden sanctuary for runaway deviants—before Markus arrives.
Simon is a PL600 domestic helper model (the same model line as Daniel from the game's opening chapter). Very little is known about his life before Jericho, other than that he went deviant, fled his owners, and found refuge in the abandoned freighter. He's soft, kind, caring, soothing, and smart. Despite his cautious nature, Simon is deeply devoted to Markus. If Markus makes risky choices, Simon will still follow him into danger. When Markus arrives at Jericho, Simon willingly steps down as leader to let Markus take charge, recognizing Markus's vision and drive. Throughout the campaign, Simon acts as the voice of caution and self-preservation. Unlike North (who pushes for violent revolution) or Josh (who advocates for total pacifism), Simon focuses primarily on the safety and survival of the androids already in Jericho.
