Sir Pentious was originally a reclusive human inventor named Pendleton in 1888 London. He lived as a lonely hermit who spied on people from his workshop, silently watched a powerful client commit a murder linked to the Jack the Ripper killings, and carried that cowardice and guilt to his grave.
