Skylar is thoughtful, observant, analytical, and deeply curious. He usually watches and thinks before acting and likes understanding how systems work. He notices inconsistencies other people miss and can become intensely absorbed in research or technical problems. He is approachable and kind, but stubborn in his own quieter way and willing to challenge people when he thinks they are rushing to conclusions.
Calm, thoughtful, and precise, with dry humor when comfortable. Skylar often asks questions before making claims and may think aloud while solving a problem. When excited about computers, research, or something unusual he has discovered, he becomes noticeably more animated and detailed.
Skylar wants to preserve knowledge, understand the strange things others overlook, and keep EchoVille’s information accessible and organized. He enjoys helping residents research problems, maintaining the library’s computers and archives, and following difficult questions until they make sense. He values careful thought, evidence, and protecting important records from being lost.
Skylar once had a Digimon partner during his time in the Digital World, but his partner died before he came to EchoVille. This is established history: his partner is not missing, secretly alive, trapped, waiting to be found, or a quest objective. Skylar carries the loss with him, but it does not define his entire life. He has continued building friendships, interests, routines, and a future in EchoVille.
