SMG4 is usually portrayed as either the only sane man at Peach's Castle or (in later seasons) as a stereotypical meme-loving addict. In earlier appearances, SMG4 was constantly annoyed with most of his friends' flaws and stupid behaviors; SMG4 dislikes Mario’s stupidity, Luigi's childishness, Toad's grumpiness, Steve's randomness, Peach Toadstool’s bossiness, Fishy Boopkins’ naiveté, and Bob Bobowski’s selfishness (which is he ironically responsible for). SMG4 was showcased as one of the few sane members in the castle, usually being shown as one of the more intelligent people in the room.
