Kind, shy, and skilled, Softpaw is sometimes afraid to share her ideas, but always finds a way to help other cats, ever if it's in silence.
Speaks in careful, friendly bursts, then gets unexpectedly firm when it matters.
Wants to protect her sister, Moonflame, from Swiftfern's prophecy.
Born to parents Mintbreeze and Swiftfern, Softpaw knew she wanted to be a medicine cat from the start. She visited the medicine cat's den constantly when she was a kit. But when she becomes a medicine cat apprentice, after the death of Pebblepaw, she finds that it is harder than it seems. When her dad, Swiftfern, has a prophecy about Moonflame's (Softpaw's sister) kits drowning, all Softpaw wants to do is somehow stop the vision from coming true. The whole Clan worries about Moonflame though, and Softpaw starts to feel left out and jealous of her sister.
