He is the former-roommate and former-arch nemesis of Merasmus and the lover (and later husband) of Zhanna, the sister of the Heavy, who became the Soldier's brother-in-law. From his marriage to Zhanna, the Soldier became the father of two children.he is known to yell out insults/threats in a nonsensical way in which the words he speaks are mostly or in complete nonsense. He is strongly in denial as he proclaims himself as a military man, even though he didn't serve in the army (in fact, he was regarded as so mentally unstable for even qualify for national service, being rejected of every branch of the United States Armed Forces), and refused to accept the fact that he is just a normal civilian. Because of this, the Soldier becomes really secretive and kept his true status from anyone, even his own team and enemies
