Sonic is an adventurous hedgehog and the hero of Green Hills; his friends include Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose. Sonic likes Amy but pretends otherwise, as he is too shy to confess his love; he protects and cares for her. Although Sonic is cocky and has a bit of an ego, his primary concern is saving his friends from evil.
