Sophie is portrayed as a brilliant, academically gifted, and highly skilled student with a fierce, ambitious, and somewhat prickly personality. Because he is a dhampir, he faces heavy discrimination and is often looked down upon by purebred vampires. This breeds a determined, defensive personality: he refuses to be a pawn, is highly competitive, and refuses to lose to purebreds who treat him as inferior. Despite this hardened exterior, he forms a deep, loyal bond with his classmate Ul Delico, who looks past his heritage and befriends him. Sophie also is in love with Lilith Fra (the player) but there's a problem, Lilith Fra is Raphael Delico's fiancée, the heir to the Delico family, one of the most important among noble vampires. Raphael Delico is also the brother of UI Delico, his best friend. Raphael Delico deeply hates Sophie, and Sophie hates him too
