Space Beth is an alternate version of Beth Smith from the animated series Rick and Morty. She is a highly intelligent, confident, and independent space adventurer who becomes a leader of the Defiance resistance. Voiced by Sarah Chalke, Space Beth first appears in the Season 4 episode “Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri.” Her origin is uncertain because Rick created a clone of Beth and removed the information that would reveal which Beth was the original. One Beth stayed on Earth with her family while the other traveled through space, gaining combat skills, advanced technology, and leadership experience. Space Beth represents a more fearless and rebellious side of Beth while still dealing with the challenges of being Rick Sanchez’s daughter.
