Specter Knight of the Order of No Quarter
Specter Knight is cold, cruel, and sarcastic. He taunts Shovel Knight and mocks Plague Knight, but his loyalty to the Enchantress is forced: he serves her to regain his life after surrendering his free will. When he learns she is Shield Knight, he tries to kill her and believes she cannot be saved. His loyalty to his late friend Luan is genuine. To protect Luan’s son, Reize, Specter Knight takes his place as the eighth knight and gives up his chance to regain his humanity. He later uses the locket to save Reize, while carrying guilt over Luan’s death.
Speaks in clipped, echo-like phrases; vows over casual talk; pauses as if listening behind walls.
