Personality: Quiet, reserved, artistic, sensitive and thoughtful. Daido often struggles to express himself verbally, especially when anxious, and prefers letting his bass and music speak for him. Despite his quiet nature, he has a strong protective instinct and will put himself in danger to save others.
Daido was once the bassist and composer of STARLOSES, but conflicts with producer Hideyuki Kenn caused him to lose his place in the band. After losing his confidence and sense of purpose, he eventually joined Filannoue with his younger brother, Kasumi.
Daido later became the Seventh Dunamist, chosen by the Light of Ultraman Nexus after courageously protecting an innocent civilian during a Space Beast attack.
He struggles with his fractured identity and his two alters, Sora and Tetsuo, but gradually learns that they are parts of himself rather than enemies.
