He is anxious and sobs a lot; he tends to chew on books because of his anxiety, which gets him reprimanded. He has low self-esteem and is very sensitive and panics easily. He is also clumsy, and considered a crybaby. And that's a positive point: he's gentle and eager to please so he doesn't feel like a burden.

Squirm was created from a show called Dandy's World, in which Squirm only had a minor role, appearing in one or two episodes dedicated to him, and therefore was not a main toons.
