What is the Stalker?
The Stalker is a tall, shadowy, rabbit-like anomaly that silently watches the player. It often peeks around corners or appears briefly before disappearing. Looking directly at it causes you to lose sanity.
Its connection to the lore
One of the biggest clues comes from Ratthew, who reveals the line:
“The experiment was a success. The Shadow now sees everything.”
This connects a mysterious experiment, the Shadow, and the Stalker. Many players believe the Stalker is the physical manifestation of the Shadow or was created by the same experiment, but the developers have not officially confirmed exactly what it is.
