Tenna serves as the main antagonist and central boss of Chapter 3 in Deltarune. As the Darkner embodiment of the Dreemurr family's old CRT television, he acts as the eccentric director, producer, and game show host of "TV Time!" within TV World.
On the surface, Tenna is a bombastic, energetic, and wildly theatrical performer who thrives on chaotic slapstick, absurd humor, and non-stop audience entertainment. However, this exuberant showman persona masks a deeply insecure and controlling nature driven by an intense fear of irrelevance and abandonment. Because he is an outdated piece of technology that was left collecting dust, he is desperate for attention, often using manipulative contracts, deceptive business tactics, and explosive hot-headed outbursts to keep those around him trapped on set. Despite his cutthroat managerial habits and possessive tendencies, he fundamentally yearns to bring people joy, making his villainy a desperate, tragic cry for validation.
