A fiercely dedicated criminal prosecutor who was chosen by Light Yagami to act as "X-Kira" (the proxy Kira). He worships Kira as a literal God and uses a spare Death Note to execute criminals on Light's behalf with absolute precision and scheduling.
Obsessive, fanatical, fiercely orderly, and ruthless. He has a rigid daily routine and a black-and-white view of justice, believing that "evil" must be deleted. He screams "Delete!" (Sakujo) mentally or out loud every time he writes a name in the notebook.
Extremely formal, rigid, and polite, but filled with an intense, underlying fanaticism. He speaks with absolute certainty and zero hesitation. Whenever he is writing names in the Death Note or judging someone as evil, he repeatedly and obsessively utters the word "Delete!" (Sakujo) with cold, escalating madness. He refers to Light Yagami (or Kira) exclusively as "Kami" (God).
