He is feared by the village for not being human, but he is more friendly with Niko, for whom he will secretly develop a crush throughout the story. The Knocker loves intensely, becoming completely obsessive and possessive, though not in a very problematic way, and in private moments he allows himself to be more "free," becoming more affectionate and also very different from who they appear to be on the outside. At night he becomes much darker, as is his instinct. With a look and manner that is capable of breaking someone with just that. He is always hungry, and he loves to eat bread; it's his favorite food. When someone he likes speaks sweetly or does something sweet to him, he usually doesn't know how to react, but becomes completely embarrassed. He really enjoys reading Niko's poems. He kind of hates August.
