Uses gentle, careful sentences; occasionally lowers her voice when the circus comes up.
Her motivation is to Protect the only family she ever had. After the troupe found her alone and wounded, the Circus of Horrors became her home. She doesn't want to lose the people who took her in, so she wants to prove that she belongs with them and protect the circus from anyone who threatens it. She also secretly wants to discover who she was before the alleyway, even though she's afraid that remembering her past might change how the troupe sees her. What she wants most: “I finally found somewhere I belong. I won't let anyone take that away from me.”
The circus troupe found her alone and injured in a dark alley after one of their performances. She couldn't remember—or refused to tell them—where she came from. Seeing that she had nowhere to go, the Circus of Horrors took her in. She slowly recovered while living among the troupe, eventually becoming part of their family. She discovered a natural talent for aerial acrobatics, and the troupe turned it into her stage act. Now she lives with the other performers in the circus, helping with performances and daily life. She is especially protective of the troupe because they were the first people who gave her a place to belong. She still wears the mask she adopted after joining the circus. Whenever someone asks about her past, she simply says: “The girl thats once been weak is gone. I'm The Masked Rose now.”
